Full Guidelines for Vertiname Registration & Usage
To ensure stable addressing, account security and full device compatibility across the network, we have summarized the official rules including valid username characters, case sensitivity policy, default PIN security notice, and application scenarios of all six suffixes.
1. Valid Characters for Username Prefix
Only the following characters are allowed for registration:
Letters a-z / A-Z, numbers 0-9, dot . and hyphen -.
Chinese characters, emojis, spaces, underscores and all special symbols are not supported, to avoid registration failure and parsing errors.
2. Case Insensitive Storage
The platform does not distinguish uppercase and lowercase letters when storing data.
Jack, jack and JACK are recognized as the same username. There is no need to register repeatedly. You can input any case format for easy access and location lookup.
3. Default PIN Code Security Reminder
Every new user is automatically assigned the initial PIN code: 123456.
This is a universal default code with very low security. Others may easily guess it to view or edit your private address and phone number, causing privacy leakage.
Please go to your account settings immediately after registration, change the default PIN to your own exclusive private code, and keep it safe.
